See You Tomorrow at the Food Court
Verdict: Watch
Wada and Yamamoto are not two people you might expect to see together. The former looks like your typical proper student, while Yamamoto’s blonde hair emphasizes her gyaru appearance. Yet despite how they look to others there’s more to them, and I enjoyed spending my lunch breaks listening to them chat about whatever.

Cultural Exchange with a Game Centre Girl
Verdict: Skip
What starts as a cute premise ends up seriously flawed, as an 18-year-old college student seems to know it’s wrong to date a 13-year-old and yet does not stop things.

My Happy Marriage Vol. 3
★ ★ ★ ★ 1/2
In the third installment of the series we get to meet the parents of Kudo, this was easily my favorite part of the show so I was eager to jump in and learn what the books had to say about the Kudo family. Let’s just say the books did it so much better than the show did! Easily my favorite volume of the story so far. Can’t wait to see how the next installment handles the major villain of the arc!

Rascal Does Not Dream Movies
Verdict: Watch, Skip, Watch
I don’t have enough to say about each of these on their own, but in short if you like the show you’ll probably like these, with the first having perhaps the most emotional punch. The second one is largely forgettable, so if you’re rushing to catch up ahead of the new season you can consider skipping it.

Mickey 17
Verdict: Mid
An interesting premise is ultimately let down by some mediocre writing. Robert Pattinson is very good though.

My Happy Marriage Vol. 2
★ ★ ★ ★
In the second installment of the series we get more of the story beats of the end of season 1 of the show. I really enjoyed meeting the new characters and actually getting the time to learn their motives more than you do in the show. Some of the writing in this volume was a little slower than volume 1, but overall still a great read. Happy with the series so far and am excited to move on to book 3!

I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi
A surprisingly fun show that somehow managed to lean harder on its cute, wholesome romance side than its total degen, ecchi side. A possible contender for best romcom of the season but only from lack of competition.

Kakushite! Makina-san!!
At least this horny ass show has some more respect for your time by only being 12 minutes long. Still manages to make showing tits as boring as listing to a finance bro drone on about shit.

Please Put Them On, Takamine-san
This show is deeply weird. But I guess you already knew that if you were trying to watch this kind of thing. It’s also incredibly mid which is just inexcusable as far as I’m concerned.
