Scooped up by an S-Rank Adventurer!
Welcome back as I continue my study into the emerging genre of “I’m super strong but my friends think I’m useless for some reason so I set out on my own and immediately found new, better friends who all want to suck my dick.” Or something like that. I’m looking forward to guiding you some…

Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra
Ah, another entry in the long line of “isekai but the main character is evil or a bad guy or whatever the fuck.” Except I’ve read the light novel for this one so I’m actually giving it a chance. Woo. Overlord definitely turned me off from this genre and I can’t say I’ve ever enjoyed…

The Water Magician
There’s a certain sweet spot of disappointment that The Water Magician perfectly nails. It’s the kind of show that draws you in to believe in it – only to shove that belief up its ass as it sputters about in the back half. I hate that I could have predicted it going to shit cause…

See You Tomorrow at the Food Court
Verdict: Watch
Wada and Yamamoto are not two people you might expect to see together. The former looks like your typical proper student, while Yamamoto’s blonde hair emphasizes her gyaru appearance. Yet despite how they look to others there’s more to them, and I enjoyed spending my lunch breaks listening to them chat about whatever.

Cultural Exchange with a Game Centre Girl
Verdict: Skip
What starts as a cute premise ends up seriously flawed, as an 18-year-old college student seems to know it’s wrong to date a 13-year-old and yet does not stop things.

My Happy Marriage Vol. 3
★ ★ ★ ★ 1/2
In the third installment of the series we get to meet the parents of Kudo, this was easily my favorite part of the show so I was eager to jump in and learn what the books had to say about the Kudo family. Let’s just say the books did it so much better than the show did! Easily my favorite volume of the story so far. Can’t wait to see how the next installment handles the major villain of the arc!

Who Are We and How Do We Do It?
What makes each of our reviewers tick? Find out but checking out our profiles and learning how we differ in our reviewing methods.
Review Process
Our Own Scales
We each use our own scales and methodology when reviewing a show, book, game or really anything. This means scores will vary by reviewer for the same topic, but each reviewer will have their own consistent reasoning behind reviews.
Differences of Opinions
We all have vastly different lives, backgrounds and interests. This means we frequently disagree on things. One of us may love a show and the others might hate it. This leads to some “healthy” debating and maybe one day we will show you what that looks like.
Flexibility to Adjust Our Scores
Opinions change and so do we! Sometimes we may go back to something we’ve already reviewed and give it a new score, these reviews will be tagged as “redos” so that they’re easy to find and they will always link to the original review if possible.
We Have Our Favorites
We all tend to have certain things we’ve watched, played, read etc that really hit home. For us you’ll quickly find out which are our favorites as we refer back to them as the “gold standard” for each category. We will tag our true top tier reviews as “gold standard” so that you can quickly find out what our favorites are.
