Well folks, after months of research I have finally identified a new shit-tier anime trend. I couldn’t possibly list them all cause they have titles nearly as stupid and as long as this one but trust me that there are so many out there. I call them “the shows where the main character’s friends are being really mean to them, so they find new friends and everything instantly gets better,” or “my old friends suck” shows for short.
As I’m sure both the title of this show and the name of my new category are speaking lengthily for themselves, I’ll just inform you that this is an extremely mid version of the new old friends suck type shows. It’s not insultingly bad but I would be concerned for my reputation if I ever called it good. The most notable thing about it is that they for some reason live stream all of their adventuring to the world and it really made me stop and wonder if people just regularly watch adventurers eat shit and die in this world. By the time I stopped thinking about that the show was over, so I’m forced to spare it any additional criticism. Alas.
