This is an anime that Christian reviewed a decent bit ago that I’m finally getting around to watching. Basically it’s about comedy groups doing their routines which are usually just things that actually happened to them. This seemed like an interesting premise, and Christian has steered me in the direction of plenty of good anime, so I was looking forward to it.
The first episode fell flat for me, despite there seemingly being potential in its setup. Since we’re just getting started and meeting the characters, it was easy enough to write off. The second episode once again did not impress. Now for a show about comedy groups I expect to laugh, yet it failed to get even one out of me so far. I turned to the good old 3 episode rule, hoping that maybe I’d find something that would click, but knowing this show was probably not for me. I was correct, with the third episode failing to impress. The lack of comedy or interesting characters meant there was nothing to draw me in. I really can’t find any good qualities in the show. That isn’t to say it’s bad, I don’t feel like it made the time I spent actively worse, but I do think there are better things I could have done during it.
