The Vampire Dies in No Time

First off, great OP in the first season, like the electro swing sound and should probably invest in seeking music of that style. Second, what a great start to the premise, immediately dropping the pretense that Draluc is some great vampire. Love watching him “die” repeatedly in the first few minutes to basically anything. As a show more focused on just bits there’s not a throughline to discuss, so there’s not a lot to say about it. It’s a good comedy with both Draluc and the hunter Ronaldo’s ridiculous personalities contributing. The side characters are similarly hilarious. I found myself easily getting through the two seasons.

It is unclear whether the anime will continue, as while season 2 was airing the manga went on indefinite hiatus and there’s been no announcement of more episodes coming. While there is probably more material that could be adapted before catching up, an adaptation is often meant to help with sales of the source material, so they could potentially be waiting to do more of the anime until the manga’s status is resolved. I will be waiting (and hoping) for its return.
