My Happy Marriage Vol. 2
★ ★ ★ ★
In the second installment of the series we get more of the story beats of the end of season 1 of the show. I really enjoyed meeting the new characters and actually getting the time to learn their motives more than you do in the show. Some of the writing in this volume was a little slower than volume 1, but overall still a great read. Happy with the series so far and am excited to move on to book 3!

I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi
A surprisingly fun show that somehow managed to lean harder on its cute, wholesome romance side than its total degen, ecchi side. A possible contender for best romcom of the season but only from lack of competition.

Kakushite! Makina-san!!
At least this horny ass show has some more respect for your time by only being 12 minutes long. Still manages to make showing tits as boring as listing to a finance bro drone on about shit.

Please Put Them On, Takamine-san
This show is deeply weird. But I guess you already knew that if you were trying to watch this kind of thing. It’s also incredibly mid which is just inexcusable as far as I’m concerned.

Orb: On the Movements of the Earth
Verdict: Definitely Watch
This was a really solid anime that explores the fictional history of how heliocentrism was brought into the mainstream. There’s a certain mix of suspense and wonder, with a rotating cast of characters that all bring their own philosophies to why they pursue this knowledge that is really engaging.

My Happy Marriage Vol. 1
★ ★ ★ ★ 1/2
Recently watched the ongoing anime of My Happy Marriage and decided to pick up the light novels and let me tell you, they don’t disappoint! Volume 1 is a delightful read filled with action romance and comedy in a perfect blend. Definitely looking forward to reading the rest and will report back with each novel’s review as I finish them!

Agent 355
★ ★ 1/2
Could have been something really interesting as this story hits the right amount of historical accuracy with exciting embellishment, however while I don’t mind the RomCom elements, they lean a little to heavily into it at times. Get me back to the historical spy drama and leave some of the RomCom out.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
Verdict: Definitely Watch
This show had so much hype around it that I knew I’d get to it eventually. I expected it to be sooner than this, but better late than never. That being said, I don’t actually have too much to say other than this is really good, easily a contender for the top of all time, but we’ll have to wait to see more.

Kraven: The Hunter
Did you really think this was gonna be worth watching?
Only managed to sit through it all cause I was at some weird Tempur-Pedic bed movie theater. Like watching Morbius’ slightly older and more muscular cousin with an alarming familial resemblance. Might as well watch it if you hate yourself that much.
