Two childhood friends? They both have to lose out in the end, right? I’ll never know though, because I didn’t like this anime. It wasn’t so bad as to say it’s not worth your time at all, I’m sure for many the amount of nerdiness in this show (a lot of references, some of which I didn’t get) will be enough to carry it. However, for me it couldn’t make up for just a bad plot.
Basically Rumi and Naori are twins who have lived next to Jun basically their whole lives. Both twins fall for Jun, Rumi asks him out, then breaks up with him, and now we’re in a whole mess. And it’s just not entertaining drama. I think Rumi’s approach was simply wrong, especially with her pushing Jun onto Naori immediately rather than giving him time to recover. At the same time I feel like Naori is kind of just playing with Jun in a certain sense. Give the man a break is what I’m trying to say. The competition and drama just aren’t interesting to watch, and so I decided after 3 episodes it was time to move on.
